The Tucson Project Digital Archival Photographs 2011-12 During the Christmas/holiday seasons, I traveled to a senior community living location in Tucson, AZ. Here I cruised Grindr and Scruff, gay/queer men’s hook-up apps for specific smartphones. Utilizing GPS technology, these apps show men that are close to you. On Christmas Eve and Christmas day, I invited and instructed men from these apps to visit me in a remote location at the edge of the community. I strategically chose the time frame of 10 am to 4 pm so that holiday dinners would not be disturbed. I asked men to masturbate, as I played in the secluded brush area. I instructed that when they are ready to orgasm to take my picture.
